Honda Recall 2010
Earlier this year Toyota announced the massive recall of eight of their models which has affected about 2.3 million vehicles. But just before the end of the month, another recall, this time from Honda, was announced. Honda recall 2010 involves some 646,000 cars and apparently, the problem is in the window. According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, the window switches have the tendency to overheat upon exposure to liquid. This may cause smoke, melting and it can even lead to fire which is really dangerous especially when you are on the road.
The Globe and Mail reported that the Honda recall 2010 really is a “bad time for the industry as it struggles to lure buyers back to showrooms after a sales slump,”. This goes the same for what the 2010 Toyota recall did for the industry. The models affected by the Honda recall are the Jazz models or better known in other countries as Fit.
